Marco Payer

started dancing the dance style breaking in 2004. After exploring the breaking scene in Europe he studied contemporary dance pedagogy at the Music and Arts University of Vienna. He finished his Bachelor of Arts in 2018 with the work Stance.

He is currently working between Copenhagen and Vienna as a dancer, choreographer and dramaturg. Next to his own project De|code, he spend the last two years working intensively with the Hungry Sharks Company. 

His artistic approach to dance is highly shaped through an analytical view as well as an improvisational practice based on impulse work.
